Math Section Overview

Math Section Overview

  • The Math portion consists of two sections:  a no-calculator section with 20 questions in 25 minutes, and a calculator section with 38 questions in 55 minutes.
  • The no-calculator section has 15 multiple choice and 5 grid-in (no multiple choice) questions. The calculator section has 30 multiple choice and 8 grid-in questions.
  • All questions are worth the same value across both sections, so a no-calculator correct answer is worth exactly the same as a calculator section correct answer.
  • The maximum for the math is 800 points.
  • Each question is worth ~10 points.
